Tarot Neocolonial de las Americas Deck and Book Set

This deck explores the period when the New and Old Worlds collided, bringing about the dawn of globalization. As a Puerto Rican artist, Patrick McGrath Muiz felt compelled to address issues of social and economic struggles within his tarot art. The result is a stunning series of visual narratives depicting 500 years of colonialization and conquests in Latin America. Includes 78 cards and 92-page book. Titles in Spanish, English, Portuguese and French.

Patrick McGrath Muiz is an artist from Puerto Rico, working primarily with oil paintings on canvas and retablos. His work is inspired after Old Master and Spanish colonial paintings while addressing issues such as colonialism, consumerism and climate change. He now lives in Texas with his family.
