Biotrophication is a GM-less horror sci-fi romance RPG zine for two players which explores themes of bureaucracy, intelligent life, capitalism and petplay. The game can run as long as you like, but is designed to run for one to three sessions.

The aliens have conquered earth with silent, painless weapons. Now is the age of the biotrophy, the human pets of the well-meaning but authoritarian aliens. One player plays a human who has resisted becoming a compliant biotrophy and the other player plays an alien who questions the ideology behind conquering humanity and creating human biotrophies in the first place. As their relationship develops over three acts, the two might find common ground, disagreements, grudges and even love… or everything will fall apart.

The game comes as a zine of two dozen sleekly designed pages, containing eclectic art and lush prose that guides the player through a turbulent, strange romance between human and alien.
